Every time I accomplish a new photoshoot or take on a new photographic project, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have found a career that makes me truly happy. If I can make a positive impact through my work in just one life, my heart is full, and there is no room for discontent. Last Saturday, at the Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter Open House in Jamesville, NY, I was completely immersed in the spirit of giving back and making a difference. Here’s just a taste of a day full of sunshine, happiness, sweet treats, cheerful barking, and new beginnings.

Of course, the very reason for the day were the adorable and loving dogs who were all at their very best behavior while interacting with prospective owners. They were brought from many different shelters and all have something special to offer to those willing to give them a chance.
